Halloween wellness

This Halloween we want to help you to fight your real enemy: the cold!

Winter months bring cold winds that can irritate the delicate skin on our face and hands, with extreme conditions that strip the skin of its natural moisture. This can lead to red patches and excess dead skin cells, that can cause acne or eczema.

To make your mask you need these simple ingredients:

- 2 spoons of Castor Oil;

- 10 drops of Lemon.

Mix all the ingredients, apply the product over your nails and cover your fingertips with some little cotton discs. Leave the mask for 10 minutes, then remove it and wash with lukewarm water.

Aloe Vera for Oral Care

Tooth decay and gum diseases are two very common health problems. One of the ways to prevent them is reducing the building up of the plaque.

Aloe Vera Juice is a possible solution, as a recent study has proved. It can be compared to the standard mouthwash ingredient chlorhexidine: after 4 days of use, the Aloe Vera rinse was found to be just as effective as chlorhexidine in reducing dental plaque.

How can Aloe Vera do this?

How can I grow an Aloe plant?
This is one of the most popular questions of our customers. Since Aloe Vera belongs to the “succulent” family, like cactus, these plants need to have a specific treatment for water and soil.

Here 4 simple tips:

1) Plant your Aloe Vera plant in a soil mix suitable for succulents. In the case of Aloe Vera, this mixture is composed by commercial potting mix with extra sand, granite grit or perlite. These plants can also be planted in potting soil, specific for cactuses.

2) Aloe Vera plants need light, so it could be better to put them near your window.

3) Water is essential for Aloe Vera! More than 95% of Aloe Vera plant is composed by water. However experts are sure: you have to water your Aloe plant only once a week.

4) Check if your Aloe Vera plant is receveing too much water. Droopy leavers, stunted growth and fungus are the three main symptoms of an overwatered plant.

Now that you know a little more about how to care for an Aloe Vera plant, try to improve your green thumb!

Benessence at Love Natural Love You

On 8-10 July 2016, we have been really excited to attend the fantastic Love Natural Love You show at Olympia London!
This special event has been totally dedicated to natural food & drink, beauty, fitness and healthy lifestyle.

Our customers enjoyed several products, especially Benessence’s Pasta and Juices with pure Aloe Vera.

Our Pasta is unique in its kind, made using an ancient and uncontaminated Italian wheat mixed with pure Aloe Vera juice. It’s suitable to help your digestion and has a detoxifying and protective action.

The Juices were a challenging test for the show's visitors! Our Aloe Vera juice has a high concentration of important nutrients, natural supplements for well-being and health. However, its taste is so bitter that… pay attention and don’t drink it all in one go! It is so pure that you only need 50 ml per day, and we always suggest to mix it with water or fruit juice.
